Gas Furnace: Rebate amount contingent upon efficiency of new unit

Natural Gas Furnaces (>=96% AFUE) $225

Natural Gas Furnaces (>=97% AFUE) $350

Homes must have CenterPoint Energy natural gas as the primary heat source to be eligible for this rebate. Furnace must be primary heat source for home's living space and be a sealed combustion unit. Systems supplementing gas space heating with an air source, dual-fuel or geothermal heat pump are not eligible.

Homes using CenterPoint Energy natural gas as the primary heat source are eligible for this rebate.

ComEd Rebates

Air Source Heat Pump - Up to $2,000

*Installation must be completed between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2023.

Equipment eligibility verified via the Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI). Minimum efficiency requirement of ≥ 16 SEER/15.2 SEER2. Equipment must be installed by a Service Provider to qualify for discounts. Self-installation does not qualify.

Mini-Split Heat Pump - Up to 1,350

Equipment eligibility verified via the Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI). Eligibility requirements ≥ 17 SEER and ≥ 9.5 HSPF and ≥ 16.1 SEER2 and ≥ 9 HSPF2. Equipment must be installed by a Service Provider to qualify for discounts. Self-installation does not qualify.

Geothermal (ground source) Heat Pump Indoor Unit Replacement

For residential geothermal heat pump installations, contact a contractor enrolled in the ComEd EESP network. All ground source heat pump projects must receive pre-approval. They will supply you with information on the requirements to receive geothermal discounts, including the pre-approval process.

Furnaces

≥ 97% AFUE Furnace - $225

• To qualify, furnace must have an Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) of 97% or above.
• The rebate amount is determined by the AFUE rating of the qualifying furnace.

≥ 95% AFUE Furnace - $150

• To qualify, furnace must have an Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) of 95% or above.
• The rebate amount is determined by the AFUE rating of the qualifying furnace.

≥ 95% AFUE Boiler - $350

• To qualify, boiler must have an Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency of 95% or above.
• Only residential-sized boilers with an input capacity of <300 MBTUH are eligible.

Combination Boilers

$500

• Only residential-sized boilers with an input capacity of < 300 MBTUH are eligible.
• Minimum boiler efficiency for eligible new equipment is 95% AFUE.
• The combination boiler must have a sealed combustion unit and be capable of modulating the firing rate and must be accompanied by a programmed outdoor reset control.
• Measures that do not qualify for this incentive include boilers with a storage tank and redundant or backup boilers.

Tipmont’s rebate program in partnership with PowerMoves from Wabash Valley Power is designed to encourage members to purchase energy efficient appliances aimed at helping you save energy and lower your electric bill.

Electric Water Heater

A $50 rebate is available for 50-80 gallon electric water heaters. For 80+ gallon electric water heaters, a $100 rebate is available. Follow the steps below to redeem your rebate.

• Purchase and install an energy efficient electric water heater Uniform Energy Factor rating must be at least .92
• Provide valid proof of purchase within 60 days of purchase
• Proof of energy efficiency rating within 60 days of purchase
• Submit a completed rebate form
• Allow Tipmont to install or inspect a demand response switch on the water heater
